I'm at W&M pursuing a PhD in the EPPL program within the School of Education. My family and I are new to this area, having most recently lived in southwestern Illinois, about 20 miles east of St. Louis. I've also lived in the Azores, northern Italy, and northern Japan, not to mention several US states. But I call Albuquerque, NM, home.\\ \\ Besides teaching adult ESOL and adult basic education classes, my interests include any kind of fiber arts, such as spinning, weaving, all types of needlework, and quilting. I also love cooking various ethnic and American foods. My latest hobby is uncovering family roots on Ancestry.com.\\
