Greetings! My name is Phillip. I am a undergraduate history student at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Currently, I am working with the Jones School of Education towards becoming a certirfied secondary Social Studies teacher. History is truly my passion and I am so enthusiastic to share my interests and knowledge with my students!

This fall, I have been working with the division 5 state football champions, Phoebus High School. PHS is one of four Hampton City Schools high schools. As a graduate of Hampton City Schools, I can relate to my students and the experiences they are going through. My experience has certainly been a plast from the past. My ninth grade World Geography students are a joy to teach, and my cooperating teacher is a mentor that I will admire for the rest of my teaching career.

The purpose of my website is to provide information about my qualifications as a teacher. Please select links from the menu on the left to learn more about my skills as a content expert, reflective practitioner, effective collaborator, and educational leader. I attached interesting artifacts to demonstrate how I have met professional competencies as an educator. Furthermore, you can look at my resume and my personal educational philosophy.

Thank you very much for viewing this information. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to request additional information. I can be reached at pbruple@wm.edu. Enjoy!
